EXCHANGES & RETURNS
KAINOS produces small-batch drops with limited inventory. Every piece is intentional. We want you in the right size, so we accept exchanges.
EXCHANGES — 14 DAYS
You have 14 days from delivery to request an exchange for a different size in the same style.
To be eligible, the item must be unworn, unwashed, free of odour, and have all original tags attached.
To start an exchange, email hello@wearkainos.com with your order number and the size you need. Please don't send anything back before we reply — returns sent without an approved exchange can't be processed.
Return postage is paid by the customer. We cover the postage to send your replacement out.
If the size you need has sold out, we'll issue store credit for the full amount you paid.
REFUNDS
We don't offer refunds for change of mind, fit preference, or colour preference. Vol. 1 is a limited run pressed by hand one garment at a time, and a returned piece can't go back into stock the way it would at a larger brand.
Please review the size chart before ordering — sizing is unisex and cut oversized by design. The measurements on every product page are the actual garment laid flat. Measure a shirt you already own and compare.
Refunds are issued only where an item is defective, damaged in transit, or incorrect, and a replacement isn't available.
DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE, OR WRONG ITEMS
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If anything is defective, damaged, or not what you ordered, email hello@wearkainos.com within 14 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos.
We cover these in full — replacement or refund, and we pay the return postage. You won't be asked to pay anything.
A NOTE ON GARMENT-DYED FABRIC
Several KAINOS pieces are garment-dyed. Slight variation in shade between individual garments is a characteristic of that process, not a fault, and isn't grounds for an exchange or refund. It's part of why the fabric looks the way it does.
NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
The following can't be exchanged or returned:
- Gift cards
- Items marked final sale at the time of purchase
- Items returned without an approved exchange request
- Items that have been worn, washed, altered, or are missing tags
EUROPEAN UNION 14 DAY COOLING OFF PERIOD
If your order is shipped into the European Union, you have the legal right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without justification. The item must be in the same condition you received it — unworn, unwashed, with tags, and in its original packaging. You'll need your order confirmation as proof of purchase.
