VOLUME ONE

The Refiner

Silver is put in the fire so that everything which is not silver rises to the surface and is taken off. That is the whole volume in one picture.

Three chapters, in order. A hoodie and a sweatpant alongside them.

  • Dawn

    Lam. 3:22–24

Mercy that arrives before you have earned it. New every morning, and never because you deserved it.

  • Valley

    Zech. 13:9

The low season. The fire that takes off everything which was never silver, and brings you close enough to Jesus that the faith becomes yours.

  • Restore

    1 Pet. 5:10

What God builds afterwards. Not returned to who you were. Rebuilt.

The volume

Why the verse is that big

Every piece carries a passage and the lesson inside it, not just the words. We would rather you understand the verse than only wear it.

That is why the tee backs are printed thirteen inches across — large enough to read from the other side of a room. It is meant to be read, and it is meant to start something.

Kainos

Greek has two words for new. Neos means new in time — recently made. Kainos means new in kind — a different sort of thing altogether.

Paul chose kainos in 2 Cor. 5:17, and that is where the name came from. Not the old thing repaired. A different thing entirely. That is what Christ makes out of a person.

Every piece is cut, pressed and packed by hand in Tennessee. There is no reprint of Vol. 1.
