KAINOS Sweatpant — Refiner Vol. 1

The quiet piece in Vol. 1. No verse, no chapter — just the KAINOS lockup on the thigh, small enough that most people will not notice it and the right people will.

If someone does ask, here is the answer. Kainos is Greek. It is the word Paul uses in 2 Cor. 5:17 — new in kind, not new in time. Not the old thing repaired or cleaned up. A different thing entirely. That is what Christ makes out of a person.

Not everything has to announce itself. Most of following Jesus does not happen in front of anyone.

Fabric

• 9 oz/yd² · 305 GSM · 80/20 cotton and polyester fleece
• Poly-filament cross-stretch fabric — holds its shape rather than bagging at the knee
• Flatlock-stitched throughout, internal drawcord, side pockets, open bottom cuffs
• Black (PMS Black 7 — a warm black) · Oxford (PMS 429C — a mid heather grey that sits with the Heather Grey hoodie)

Wearing it with the hoodie

Oxford and Heather Grey are a match. Same grey family, and they read as one set.

The two blacks are close but not identical. The sweatpant is a slightly deeper black than the hoodie — different fabric, different mill, different dye standard. Worn together they read as a set and most people will never notice. Held side by side in daylight, you can see it. That is normal for separates and it is not a fault, but you should know before you buy rather than after.

Fit

Relaxed through the leg with an open hem. Take your normal size.

Measurements in inches, garment laid flat.

Waist is measured flat and unstretched — the elastic waistband gives considerably beyond this.

Care

Wash inside out, cold, with like colours. Tumble dry low. Do not iron directly on the print.
